I recently ordered from them and today I’m sharing with you my honest patpat review.

What Is PatPat?

Patpat is a clothing company founded in 2014 by two male engineers. Interesting, since they mostly sell women’s and children’s clothing. Patpat is based out of Mountain View California, but they have expanded their business to serve many countries around the world.

Is PatPat a Legitimate Company?

The fact that their prices are so affordable make most of us a little nervous. Really cute clothing, styles you would usually only find in a high end boutique for much less than Walmart prices? It has to be too good to be true right?

Let’s look at the research I did on PatPat’s legitimacy:

  • PatPat operates under the umbrella of a parent company named Interfocus Inc. which is a legally registered company in California.
  • They have an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau website.
  • They have an https:// website which means the information you enter is secure.
  • You can find a lot of shopping haul videos on youtube, meaning shoppers are receiving their orders.
  • They have been in business for 7 years. No company would survive that amount of time if it was a scam.
  • As far as I was able to find out and based on my own shopping experience, they are a legitimate company.

Why Is PatPat So Affordable?

PatPat’s tagline is “we make quality affordable”, they explain they are able to do this by working directly with products manufacturers and eliminating the middle man.

PatPat runs a lot of sales and promotions, offering daily deals, promo codes, and flash sales.

They also offer a points earning system. The customer earns points by creating a PatPat account, checking-in daily, and after placing an order. 100 points = $1, they are redeemable in $5 increments. There is however, a minimum order requirement when redeeming points and the requirement changes depending on the amount of points you redeem.

Is PatPat’s Clothing From China?

No where on their website does it say their merchandise all comes from China, but it’s widely believed it is.

From my personal experience, I believe this to be true. The package I received had Chinese writing and some (not all) of the labels on the clothing were in Chinese as well. Aside from the fact my order took almost a full month to get here.

Is PatPat’s Clothing Good Quality?

I ordered three outfits and one silicone bib for my 12 month old, making sure to look at the material, washing instructions and reviews for each item….

and was pleasantly surprised with what I received.

little boy in navy blue romper

This navy blue romper was my favorite of the three outfits.

It is made of cotton and linen and the buttons are made of that really thin wood like material. It washes well and it didn’t shrink in the drier.

The only thing that I don’t like about it, is that it doesn’t have an opening on the bottom for easy diaper changes. You pretty much have to unbutton the whole thing to do a diaper change.

The material is very thin making it an adorable summer romper of decent quality.

little boy wearing a cotton top and shorts

This top and bottom set is made of cotton and spandex. It washed and dried very well.

It has functioning buttons on the top, and an elasticized waist with decorative tie up on the shorts.

The material is a little thicker than I like for the hot summer we’ve had in Utah this year, but for the $6.99 I paid for it I can’t complain too much.

Sometimes You Get What You Pay For….

Lastly, this one although cute when it’s on, is of lesser quality. I got it on a flash sale for .99 cents, definitely got what I paid for.

It had loose strings hanging from the seams right out of the package.

It completely lost its shape after I washed it the first time, not a big deal since you can’t tell once it’s on but it also shrunk a little bit in the drier.

The buttons on the bottom opening for the diaper are white cheap plastic.

Sure it’s of poor quality but it was cheap, and it served it’s purpose of a summer play outfit.

I found all the outfits fit true to size.

How Long Does PatPat Shipping Take?

This is the biggest complaint I found about the company. It takes a VERY long time for you to receive your order.

PatPat’s website says this about long shipping reasons:

Note orders will go through two phases before being delivered:

  1. Order processing time: It takes between 2 and 3 days depending on the availability of the items and to dispatch your order.

2. Shipping time: It can vary depending on your location and shipping methods.

Customs clearance may lengthen the process. Also, Shipping/ Delivery time frame can vary depending on your location and shipping methods. You may also try tracking your package first.

If you download the PatPat app, you will be able to track your shipment along the way.

PatPat Review Conclusion

PatPat Cons:

  • Made in China.
  • Shipping takes a very long time.
  • You run the risk of getting low quality items.
  • No organic cotton options for the naturally minded mama.

PatPat Pros:

  • Very affordable.
  • Cute clothing.
  • Shopping through their app is very easy and convenient.
  • They offer a wide selection for babies, toddlers, family matching outfits, & women and maternity clothing.

So how about you? If you’ve shopped at patpat.com what was your experience with them?

  1. I purchased several outfits for my 5 month old grandson, who is already in 9 month clothes, mainly because he is so long. I thought maybe because they didn’t cost much that the sizes would really be off; can’t really say that is the case. I ordered 12-18 month sizes and the lengths are comparable to what they would be in the stores here for those sizes. The quality looks really good, but they haven’t been washed yet. If they hold up in the wash this may just be my go to in the future. They took a little over 2 weeks to arrive and the tracking started in Kaufman, Tx. So, whether they were shipped there from overseas I have no idea.

  2. Been buying clothes from them for 2 yrs and have mot had one complaint ….i love this company and will continue to buy from them til my grand daughter has other ideas lol but love me some patpat!
